SENSYS Traffic AB (publ) and the Danish company Technical Traffic Solutions (TTS) A/S have entered into an exclusive agreement for the sale and distribution of Sensys' systems for road safety in Denmark.
Further to studying the impact of automatic speed monitoring, Denmark has decided to introduce such systems in the coming year. Sensys has therefore established, prior to the procurement procedure, a cooperation agreement with Technical Traffic Solutions, who will represent Sensys on the Danish market.
"Through TTS, who are market leaders in traffic systems in Denmark, we gain access to in-depth knowledge and a large contact network within the Danish market," says Johan Frilund, CEO of Sensys Traffic.
"As technical leader within traffic monitoring systems, Sensys supplements TTS in an excellent way. This cooperation agreement will strengthen our position prior to the pending procurement procedure," says Anders D Christensen, CEO of TTS.
TTS works on a broad front within traffic and car-parking. The Danish company sells systems for traffic control via signals and variable road markings, as well as systems for operational surveillance and parking management. TTS also provides advice and projecting services within traffic and car-parking. The company is part of the Danish NRGi Group.
Sensys Traffic develops and markets various systems for traffic informatics and traffic safety. The products are primarily used for speed and red-light surveillance and enforcement. The Sensys share is listed on NASDAQ OMX Stockholm.
